I discovered that my insecurities and my flaws were things that I actually need to embrace, and I let them become my superpowers.

My passion for hearing and sharing stories has led me to learn American Sign Language. Sharing what I’m learning comes naturally to me, so I began this blog to pass along my new insights I am finding about ASL.

I am a sophomore Communication major at Spring Arbor University. I realized that my interest in sign language and my communication studies were closely linked, and I have since found many ways to engage with other learners on my campus.

I have found that learning ASL has opened a whole new world to me, and I would love to share that world with you through my writing.
